The German Automaker BMW is prepping up to launch the BMW X3M in India soon. It was first debuted in February 2019 in Europe and now is all set to arrive on Indian shore. Ahead of its official launch, the SUV was spotted testing in Mumbai. 2020 BMW X3M is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 1.2 crore - Rs 1.5 crores( Ex-Showroom) in India. Once launched, The X3M will be competing against the likes of Porsche Macan, Mercedes Benz GLC 63 AMG, Jaguar F-Pace SVR, and Audi SQ5 in the market.

According to the spy shots, the SUV features the brand’s signature front kidney grille and LED DRLs. BMW X3M will be available in two variants namely Standard and Competition. The Standard X3M flaunts the frame in chrome while the Competition X3M features the same in gloss black. Apparently, in the spy shots the frame was camouflaged but the alloy wheels were visible enough to make out that they were 20-inch.

BMW X3M's cabin boasts of Vernasca leather upholstery. Other highlighted features include an M-series specific cockpit, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a gearshift selector lever. The interior of the Competition X3 will boast of Merino leather upholstery with Alcantara trims. However, India is expected to get the Standard X3M as of now.

Under the hood, there is a 3.0-litre Twin-Turbo Inline six-cylinder petrol engine that will shell out 480 bhp (Standard X3M) / 510 bhp (Competition) power and 600 Nm torque for both. The engine comes mated to an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission that transmits power to the active M differential. Power is sent to the wheels through the M-spec xDrive All-wheel-drive system.
