BMW is about to launch their flagship luxury SUV X7 in India later this month. The car will be offered in two trims here - Design Pure Excellence and M Sport. The mainstream versions xDrive40i and xDrive30d will be coming with these trims. The M Sport trim will have the same cosmetics as the range topping X7 M50d, which will look sportier than the regular version having a body kit.
In terms of features as well, the M Sport trim will offer more equipment over the Design Pure Excellence trim. The German luxury carmaker is expected to launch the X7 M50d this month but the mainstream xDrive40i and xDrive30d will be launched sometime around September because BMW will locally assemble these variants in India to keep the price in check.
The BMW X7 M50d will be coming to India as a CBU unit and we expect the ex-showroom price to go well above Rs. 1.50 crores. The flagship SUV will be offered with a ton of customisation options for the interior. The BMW X7 will compete with the likes of Mercedes-Benz GLS, Range Rover and Audi Q7.
