BS6 Bajaj Avenger Street 160 new price is Rs 95, 891.

Bajaj Auto is hiking the prices of their popular models in the Indian market. The two-wheeler manufacturer first hiked the price of Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise, then the Pulsar NS 200  and now it is the turn of BS6 Bajaj Avenger Street 160. The bike has got a price hike of Rs 1000 following an increase of Rs 1200 in May. The Avenger Street 160's new price is Rs 95,891 (ex-showroom), Delhi following the second increase in price. Despite this second hike, the BS6 Bajaj Avenger Street 160 is priced lower than its rival, the Suzuki Intruder by Rs 26,250. It is  one of the most affordable cruiser motorcycle available in the Indian market as of toady.

BS6 Bajaj Avenger Street 160 was launched in India in April 2020 at an introductory price of Rs 94, 893 (ex-showroom), Delhi. The BS6 model at the time of its launch was around Rs 11, 600 more expensive than the outgoing BS4 model. The bike is sold in two different colour schemes namely Spicy Red and Ebony Black. Dimension wise, the BS6 model is the same with  17-inch front and 15-inch rear wheels also continuing over from the BS4 model. Its wheelbase stands at 1490 mm with the fuel tank capacity of 13-litres.

BS6 Bajaj Avenger Street 160 does not sport any new design updates. The features list in the new 2020 Bajaj Avenger Street 160 is the same as before. The list includes the mention of LED DRLs, super-wide rear tyre, low and long profile seat and roadster-like headlamp design. The 160cc motorcycle comes with a sporty exhaust. Performance-wise, the Avenger Street 160 is powered by a BS6 compliant 160cc SOHC, air-cooled, DTS-i engine that delivers 15 bhp of maximum power and 13.7 Nm of peak torque. The bike is now equipped with a fuel-injection system, an ECU (Electronic Control Unit), and a new cat-con. The 2020 Avenger Street 160 comes with a 280mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum brakes. It comes with a single-channel ABS (Anti-Braking System). Twin Telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers towards the rear take care of the suspension duties.
