The BS6 version of Pulsar 125 Split Seat looks sportier than the single-seat variant; gets minor cosmetic updates

Bajaj Auto has launched the BS6 Pulsar 125 Split Seat at a price of Rs 79,091 (ex-showroom). This new motorcycle is the sporty version of Bajaj Pulsar 125 BS6 Neon. The company launched Pulsar 125 Neon BS6 earlier this year. The BS6 version of the Pulsar 125 Split Seat variant will be available in select states only just like its BS4 counterpart. The motorcycle will be competing against the likes of the Honda SP 125, Hero Glamour, and Honda Shine.

Cosmetically, Bajaj has given minor cosmetic updates to the Split Seat variant in order to differentiate the bike from its BS4 counterpart. The motorcycle features a wolf-eyed headlamp cluster with twin pilot lamps. The rear end gets an infinity twin-strip LED tail lights. Other highlighted features include a 3D logo on the tank, split pillion grab rails wide digital console with a trip meter, clip-on handlebars, and an engine cowl with attractive graphics. As the name suggests, the motorcycle gets a spilt seat set up instead of a single-piece seat. It also gets color co-ordinated decals on the fuel tank extensions, front fenders, rear cowl, and 17-inch black alloy wheels.

Under the frame, it is identical to the BS6 Pulsar 125 Neon. It draws power from a revised 124.4cc single-cylinder, 2-valve, air-cooled engine that churns out 12 bhp power and 11 Nm torque. The engine comes equipped with Bajaj Auto’s patented DTS-i Technology.

Suspension duties are taken care of by 31mm front forks and twin gas shock setup towards the rear end. In terms of brakes, the motorcycle gets a 240mm disc for the front wheel and 130 mm drum at the rear along with an anti-skid braking system to avoid skidding or slipping. The bike is available in three color options namely Neon Green on Matte Black, Black Silver, and Black Red.
