BMW Motorrad has launched the BS6 G 310 twins in the Indian market

BMW Motorrad has finally launched the much-awaited BS6 version of the G 310 R and G 310 GS at an introductory price of Rs 2.45 Lakhs and Rs 2.85 Lakhs (All prices, ex-showroom), respectively in the Indian market. Both of these motorcycles will be available in India at the dealerships from today onwards. The brand has been teasing both the bikes for quite some time.

In terms of design, the G 310 twins get full-LED headlights with horizontal DRLs, LED flashing turn-indicators, and LED brake lights. The G 310 twins also get a new ride by wire system that provides control over throttle. Furthermore, there is also a multi-functional instrument display cluster with a large display that offers information and feedback to the riders. 

Mechanically, both the bikes are powered by a 313 cc water-cooled, single-cylinder engine that generates 34 bhp at 9500 rpm and 28 Nm torque at 7500 rpm. The motor is linked to a 6-speed gearbox. Furthermore, the bikes come with a maximum speed of 143 kmph. The high-performance anti-lock braking systems ensure precise braking at all times. The bikes feature a slipper clutch with self-reinforcement that provides precise actuation and smooth downgrades.

The BMW G 310 twins are offered in three new color options namely Style Sport Limestone Metallic, Style Rallye Kyanite Blue Metallic, and 40 years GS Cosmic Black. Apart from these, the bikes are also available in attractive finance schemes through the brand’s finance partner BMW India Financial Services. Furthermore, they are offering an all-inclusive monthly installment that starts at Rs 4500 for BMW G 310 R and Rs 5500 for BMW G 310 GS. Both bikes come with a 3-year, unlimited kms standard warranty. This warranty can be extended for further 4th and 5th year at an additional cost of Rs 16,250. For the first 500 customers, this extension of the warranty is available at a special price of Rs 5499. Also, 24/7 road-side service for 365 days is a part of the package.
