The BS6 model of XPulse 200 does not feature any drastic changes in styling. Like its outgoing BS4 version, the motorcycle gets an LED headlight with LED DRLs, small visor, break-type front fender, knuckle guards and a high mounted exhaust system. The presence of a fully digital information cluster with Bluetooth connectivity provides a whole lot of information.

Coming to the powertrain, the updated Hero XPulse 200 is powered by a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that is now BS6 compliant. The engine churns out 17.8 bhp power and 16.4 Nm of torque. In order to reduce overheating, the company has fitted the bike with an oil-cooler that enables better cooling of the engine. A new exhaust system has also been added into the package. The system now gets a new cat-con which has been repositioned underneath the engine.

According to the two-wheeler manufacturer, the weight of the motorcycle has gone up by 3 kgs as it now weighs 159 kgs. The suspension duties are handled by 37mm telescopic front forks and 10 way adjustable monoshock towards the rear. For stopping power, there is a single 276mm disc upfront followed by 220mm disc at the rear alongside a single-channel ABS.
