Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have been a leader in the automatic scooter segment. The company launched the BS6 version of Activa 6G earlier this year in the 110cc scooter segment. Now it has launched the BS6 version of Grazia 125 in the 125cc scooter segment. Apart from the BS6 compliant engine, the Grazia comes with new innovative features, bold and edgy style while the Activa 6G gets a refreshed look along with new features. Honda launched the BS6 Grazia 125 at Rs 73,336 (ex-showroom) which is expensive than the base model of the BS6 Honda Activa 6G. Activa 6G is priced in the range of Rs 63,912 - Rs 65,412 (ex-showroom).
The BS6 Honda Grazia 125 offers a mileage of 60 kmpl, ARAI certified, and has a top speed of 85 kmph. While the BS6 Honda Activa 6G offers an ARAI claimed mileage of 45 kmpl with a top speed of 85 kmph.
Honda has updated the BS6 Grazia 125 with a new LED split position lamp with a 3D logo emblem on either side. A split grab rail and a chiseled tail light cluster come as a standard feature. While the BS6 Activa 6G retains the same silhouette as its BS4 counterpart. It gets an LED headlamp with LED DRLs.
As for the features, the 125cc Grazia offers a fully digital instrument display that caters to elements like a 3-step ECO indicator, average fuel efficiency, distance to empty, clock, real-time mileage, service due indicator among many others. The scooter also gets a side stand indicator with engine cut-off. The under-seat storage has also been redesigned with an aim to offer more storage space. The BS6 Activa 6G, on the other hand, shares a lot of features with the BS6 Activa 125. These features include the analog-digital instrument cluster and chrome finished panels. Apart from this, the scooter also gets a longer seat, longer wheelbase, and more floor space.
Honda has equipped both these scooters with silent start technology and combi brake system. They also get telescopic forks suspension in the front and a 3-step adjustable suspension towards the rear.
Mechanically, the BS6 Honda Grazia comes with a 124cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine with ACG starter. This is in fact the same engine that is found on the Honda Activa 125 thus delivering a maximum power output of 8.17 bhp @ 6000 rpm with a peak torque of 10.3 Nm peak @ 5000 rpm. The scooter gets a CVT gearbox.
While the Honda Activa 6G is powered by a 109cc fuel-injected single-cylinder engine, which makes it 10 percent more fuel-efficient. The engine produces 7.68 bhp power @ 8000 rpm, and 8.79 Nm of peak torque @ 5250 rpm. The engine is linked to a CVT gearbox.
The BS6 Honda Grazia 125 is offered in four different colors that are Matte Cyber Yellow, Pearl Siren Blue, Matte Axis Grey, and Pearl Spartan Red.
While the Honda Activa 6G will be available in six color options namely Black, Pearl Spartan Red, Pearl Precious White, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Glitter Blue Metallic, and Dazzle Yellow Metallic.
