KTM India has launched the BS6 250 Duke at a sticker price of Rs 2.09 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the country. The quarter litre motorcycle is now available with two new color themes – Dark Galvano and Silver Metallic. The 2020 KTM 250 Duke BS6 also gets several new features in the form of full LED headlamps with DRLs and dual-channel ABS with Supermoto mode as standard. Since its entry into the Indian market in 2012, the company has grown its presence across 365 cities & 460 stores with over 2.70 Lakh customers in the premium sport motorcycle segment.
The 2020 BS6 KTM 250 Duke flaunts split LED headlamp setup with attractive DRLs which are a reminiscent of its big brother, the KTM 1290 Super Duke R. In addition, it has been equipped with “contactless cranking” which enables one-touch start (early cold start) functionality. The BS6 KTM 250 Duke comes with “Supermoto” mode in its dual-channel ABS setup which can be activated at the push of a button and gives extra racetrack control. When engaged, the Supermoto system only controls ABS on the front brake. Rear brake pressure is entirely up to the rider's right foot. Some of the high-end components of the motorcycle also include open-cartridge upside-down WP forks, slipper clutch, and preload adjustable mono shocks. The 2020 KTM 250 Duke is powered by a BS6 compliant 248.8cc single-cylinder liquid cooled DOHC engine which generates a top power of 29.5bhp at 9000rpm and peak torque of 24Nm at 7500rpm. Having a kerb weight of 169 kgs, the bike has a fuel tank capacity of 13.5 litres.
