Tata Motors rolled out its much-awaited Curvv coupe electric SUV in India on August 7, 2024. Now, the auto giant has officially started the booking process for the all-new Tata Curvv EV. In the Indian market, the latest electric vehicle is priced between INR 17.49 lakh and INR 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Buyers have the option to reserve the new Curvv electric coupe SUV online or by visiting their nearest Tata showrooms.
Deliveries for the Curvv EV are all set to begin on August 23, 2024. The brand offers the all-new coupe in a total of five trims: Creative, Accomplished Plus S, Accomplished, Empowered Plus A, and Empowered Plus. Buyers can select from five different color options, such as Pristine White, Empowered Oxide, Pure Grey, Virtual Sunrise, and Flame Red.
Tata Curvv Coupe EV Specifications
The Tata Curvv EV comes loaded with multiple cabin themes as per the variant. The top-end trim of the Curvv Coupe receives a white and twin-tone black interior. The cabin features a four-spoke steering wheel that we have also seen in the popular Harrier-Safari duo. Tata is offering the Curvv EV with a range of advanced features like a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, a nine-speaker JBL-tuned sound system, and a wireless phone charger.
The top-spec trim of the car gets an infotainment system that also includes the Arcade.ev app suite, via which drivers and passengers can play games and watch movies through OTT apps. The Tata Curvv electric car is equipped with a variety of safety features, such as electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, six airbags as standard, and more. Furthermore, the electric vehicle also gets a level 2 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).
Under the hood, the recently launched Curvv EV features two battery sets: a 45kWh and a 55kWh. The 45kWh unit provides an ARAI-certified range of 502 km, whereas the 55kWh battery set offers an ARAI-certified range of 585 km. When mated to the larger battery set, the electric motor equipped in the Curvv electric SUV can churn out a power of 167 bhp and peak torque of 215 Nm. The Tata Curvv can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.6 seconds, and it has a top speed of 160 kmph. According to the company, the battery set can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 40 minutes through a 70-kW charger.
Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the Tata Curvv ICE SUV on September 2. The all-new ICE-powered SUV will be offered in six color schemes: Daytona Grey, Pristine White, Flame, Opera Blue, Pure Grey, and Gold Essence.
