2020 BS6 Mahindra Bolero Facelift Prices, Variants, Features and Mileage explained in detail.

1st April 2020 will be a defining date in the Indian automobile industry with the introduction of new cleaner BS6 Emission Norms. BS6 vehicles will be cleaner and efficient than the outgoing BS4 models while substantially reducing the vehicular pollution. Indian manufacturers had 3 years to plan and launch these vehicles that will comply with the stricter pollution regime set by the Indian government. With the BS6 deadline looming closer, Mahindra and Mahindra launched the BS6 Bolero Facelift in India. Mahindra Bolero made its first appearance in the country back in the year 2000 and has sold over 2 Lakh units since its inception. Bolero is a widely popular choice of vehicle in the SUV segment in the Tier- 2 and Tier-3 cities.

Mahindra and Mahindra launched the BS6 Bolero Facelift at an introductory price of Rs 7.76 lakhs going all the way upto Rs 8.78 lakhs for the top end trim. All the prices mentioned here are ex-showroom.

BS6 Mahindra BoleroFacelift : Exterior Design 

The major highlight of BS6 Mahindra Bolero Facelift is the new X shaped bumper with stylish fog lamps, a new bold front grille, revamped fog lamps and tail lights. Dimension wise, Mahindra Bolero Facelift measures 3,995mm in length, 1,745mm in width and 1,880mm height while its wheelbase stands at 2,680mm.

The cabin of BS6 Mahindra Balero Facelift comes with minor changes like redesigned seats and refreshed interior while retaining the digital cluster and driver information system from previous generation. Dual airbags, engine stop-start system, USB enabled audio system with new steering wheel gives BS6 Bolero interior a classy appearance. Safety features are aplenty like ABS (anti-lock braking system), driver airbag, driver and co-driver seat belt reminder and reverse parking sensors.

BS6 Mahindra Bolero Facelift : Engine Specifications 

 Updated Mahindra Balero Facelift comes equipped with a BS6 compliant diesel engine which its key highlight. The engine is a 1.5-litre, mHAWK75 unit that delivers a maximum power output 76 bhp with 210Nm of peak torque. It comes matted to a 5-speed manual gearbox with a fuel capacity of 60 litres. 


BS6 Mahindra Bolero Facelift: Mileage

Since there is a upgrade in the powerplant, we expect the BS6 Mahindra Balero Facelift to give a better mileage in comparison to its predecessor. Therefore to point out, the earlier BS4 Balero used to return a mileage figure of 16.1 kmpl (ARAI certified).
