Mahindra & Mahindra is likely to launch the BS6 Marazzo anytime soon in India. The company had discontinued the model in April as it did not comply with the new BS6 Emission Norms. But now the updated MPV is all set to reach showrooms really soon. However, many dealerships have started accepting bookings for the same at a token amount of Rs 25,000. The prices of the BS6 Mahindra Marazzo variants have been leaked ahead of its official launch.
With the BS6 update, Mahindra has streamlined the variants of Marazzo as well. The MPV will now be made available in three variants namely M2, M4 Plus, and M6 plus across seven-seat and eight-seat versions. Also, according to rumors the company is believed to have removed the top-end trim M8 from its product line-up. While the M2 variant is Rs 1.01 lakh pricer than its BS4 counterpart. The price for rest of the variants remains the same as before which are stated right here below.
Talking about the features, then there has been no update from the company yet. However, it is being assumed that the Marazzo M4 Plus variant is likely to feature a new set of alloy wheels along with a Bluetooth music system. Apart from this, the BS6 model is likely to retain most of the design & features from its BS4 counterpart.
Under the hood, the BS6 Marazzo is powered by the same 1.5-litre four-cylinder, diesel engine that was found in its BS4 model. This particular engine belts out 121 bhp power output with 300 Nm of peak torque. Further, the engine is linked to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The BS6 Marazzo is also likely to be offered with a petrol engine anytime soon. The petrol-powered Marazzo was displayed at the Auto Expo 2020 this year. We can expect the petrol variant to utilize a 1.5-litre mStallion engine that produces 163 bhp of power.
