With the nationwide restrictions easing now and dealerships opening up, automobile manufacturers are hiking the prices on their vehicles. Bajaj recently announced a price increase on Pulsar 150 and now Yamaha has done the same. Yamaha India has announced hike on prices of BS6 compliant models - R15 V3.0, FZ-Fi and FZS-Fi, Fz25. Price hike for both FZ-Fi and FZS-Fi is the first one since the BS6 update. The FZ-Fi and FZS-Fi were launched in November 2019 and were the first models to receive BS6 update in Yamaha's stable of motorcycles. The BS6 FZ-Fi introductory price at launch was Rs 99,200 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) with two colour options - Racing Blue and Metallic Black. The BS6 FZS-Fi was priced at INR 1,01,200 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) while Metallic Red, Matte Black, Dark Matte Blue, and Grey/Cyan Blue were the standard colour options. For the Dark Knight paint scheme, the customer had to shell out Rs 1,02,700 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). BS6 FZ-Fi and BS6 FZS-Fi have received a hike of Rs 500.
The BS6 Yamaha FZ-Fi and BS6 Yamaha FZS-Fi are powered by a 149 cc single-cylinder engine. This air-cooled engine generates 12.23 Bhp of power at 7,250 rpm and 13.6 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine is coupled with a 5-speed gearbox.

The Japanese two-wheeler company has increased the prices of the BS6 Yamaha R15 V3.0 by Rs 500-1000. The BS6 Yamaha R15 V3.0 launch price was Rs 1,45,300 and It comes in 3 colour options - Thunder Grey, Racing Blue, and Dark Knight. The prices have increased for all the 3 colour options with the Thunder Grey model priced at Rs Rs 1,45,800. Racing Blue Model will now cost Rs 1,46,900 and Dark Knight will set you back by Rs 1,47,900.
Yamaha R15 V3.0 is powered by a BS6 compliant 155 cc single-cylinder engine. The liquid-cooled engine comes with a SOHC set up and fuel injection technology generating 18.34 Bhp of power and 14.1 Nm of torque.
