The extended period of sales slowdown has forced the makers to run various discount scheme on their cars in the market. Although, some newer models are still being sold without discounts, almost all the existing models in the market by the makers are being offered with some kind of discount or the other. Among these discount offers, there are some really high value discounts being offered by the companies on some of their models. Therefore, we have compiled a list of cars that are being sold with a discount greater than Rs. 1 lakh in the market as of now. If you are planning to buy any of these cars, now would be the best time to do so.

Hyundai Xcent -- Total discount worth Rs. 1 lakhs. Discounts include: 60,000 as direct cashback. Extra discount worth Rs. 35,000 as exchange bonus also being offered with every purchase of Hyundai Xcent. Rs. 5,000 being offered as extra discount for government employees with every purchase of Xcent.

Volkswagen Vento -- Total discounts up to Rs. 1.14+ lakhs. Discounts include: The automatic variants of car being offered with Rs. 1.14 lakhs as discount. Vento Cup edition cars being offered at a price of Rs. 9.24 lakhs.

Toyota Yaris -- Total discount worth Rs. 1.95 lakhs.
