Daihatsu Copen Coupe revealed for the Japanese market after showcasing the concept version.

Daihatsu Copen Coupe has been revealed ahead of its debut at the 2019 Tokyo Auto Salon. After having a long stint in the Japanese market as a roadster, the Daihatsu Copen finally gets a fixed roof. At the 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon, the carmaker showcased the fixed-roof concept and it received a positive response from the Japanese audience.

Now, the production version of the much awaited Daihatsu Copen Coupe has been revealed, which looks quite quirky and off-beat and will definitely attract attention on the road. While the Copen Coupe will be introduced sometime soon in the market, the automaker will produce a limited 200 units of the same. 

The Daihatsu Copen Coupe will enter production very soon and the deliveries will commence in April 2019. Some of the features include Momo leather-wrapped steering with paddle shifters for CVT, limited slip differential, BBS aluminum wheels and serialized plates on the center console. It is powered by a turbo petrol 0.66-litre engine producing 64 BHP.
