The Monster 797 Plus is now on sale at Rs 8.03 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The bike comes with a fly screen and a colour-coordinated pillion seat cowl as standard, which used to be optional extras earlier.
There are no other changes apart from these. The bike continues to be powered by a Scrambler-sourced 803cc, L-Twin powerplant that makes 73hp and 67 Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The only safety feature on offer is a dual-channel ABS.
The bike is available at all Ducati dealerships in India and deliveries of the 2018 Monster 821 have also begun.
The company decided to implement a price hike due to increased operational costs and other costs related to production.
