Ducati Multistrada 950 S Launched at Rs 15.49 Lakhs in India

Ducati India has finally launched the BS6 Multistrada 950 S in the country

Ducati India has just launched the much-awaited BS6 compliant Multistrada 950 S in the Indian market. The new ADV is now available in India at a price tag of Rs 15.49 lakhs (ex-showroom). This is the company’s third BS6 offering in the country. The company has already commenced the bookings of its adventure motorcycle at a token amount of Rs 1 lakh. The bike is now available across all Ducati dealerships in the country. We can expect the deliveries to begin in the first week of November itself. The All-New Multistrada 950 S is only offered in a red colour. 



The motorcycle sits on a front trellis frame with large diameter tubes. Upfront, it features a full-LED headlight. It further comes with a ground clearance of 183.5mm and has a wheelbase of 1594mm. Other design highlights include lighter double-sided swing arms made of shell cast aluminium. The new ADV is also offered with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tyres that further provides improved traction on any type of surface along with ensuring excellent cornering & wet weather traction. 



In terms of features, the Multistrada 950 S continues to provide a 5.0-inch TFT instrument display. It boasts of a class-leading electronic package that includes Ducati quick shift (up/down), electronic suspension, cornering ABS, traction control, vehicle hold control, and fully-adjustable riding modes. The New Multistrada 950 S is offered with four riding modes namely Sports, Touring, Urban, and Enduro. Mechanically, it is powered by a 937cc, Testasretta, L-twin, liquid-cooled engine that churns out a maximum power of 111 bhp @9000 rpm and a peak torque of 96 Nm @7750 rpm. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. 



Plus the new BS6 ADV is now equipped with Ducati Skyhook Suspension Evo system. This feature adjusts the fork and shock response as per the road conditions. It can further be set to 400 different configurations so as to ensure unparalleled precision and agility. The new ADV will be competing against the likes of the Triumph Tiger 900 in the Indian market.
