The Italian manufacturer, Ducati has showcased the sophisticated version of their entry-level adventurer, the Multistrada 950 S. The S version looks very similar to the eldest Multistrada 1260. The exhaust muffler is now a little longer and the alloy wheels are redesigned.
The major update is the suspension of the bike, it gets the Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS). This system adapts the damping setting according to the changing road conditions. The braking hardware remains unchanged. The Pirelli Scorpion Trail tyres are standard on the bike, but if you opt for the spoked wheel you get an option for Pirelli Scorpion Rally tyres.
The bike gets a 20-litre fuel tank capacity and the kerb weight of the bike is 230 kgs. The adventure bike gets cornering ABS as standard. And other equipment on this bike is LED headlight, 5.0-inch TFT screen, cruise control, backlit switchgear, hydraulic clutch and a bi-directional quick shifter.
The new Ducati Multistrada 950 S will arrive in India in 2019 and is expected to be priced at Rs. 15 lakhs (ex-showroom). The bike when launched will take on the BMW F850 GS.
