Ducati India has launched the Streetfighter V4 and V4 S on the Indian market. The Italian marque has listed the V4 range on its website. In India, the Streetfighter V4 is available at a price of INR 24.62 lakh, whereas the V4 S motorcycle is priced at INR 28 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). Retail sales for the new Ducati models will start on March 12, whereas deliveries should start in the coming weeks.
The auto giant is offering the Streetfighter variants, V4 and V4 S, in a bright Ducati Red paint job. The S version, on the other hand, also comes in a Grey Nero along with the brand’s red color scheme. Also, the two-wheeler maker is offering a host of accessories for the new variants to improve the overall look.
The Streetfighter V4 comes with updated features such as the latest full LED headlamps and V-shaped LED DRLs. It retains the fuel tank from the Panigale V4, which provides better grip for the rider and a bigger 16.5-litre capacity. The side covers, too, have been updated for a sharper look. The Ducati V4 S houses a repositioned swingarm pivot, which is around 4 mm higher than earlier. For better stability, the unit optimizes the anti-squat action and precision around corners. The new motorcycle also has better weight distribution for better corner entry.

Powering the new variants is a V4 'Desmosedici Stradale,' liquid-cooled engine tuned to churn out 205 bhp of power at 13,000 rpm and peak torque of 123 Nm at 9,500 rpm. The unit is mated to a six-speed gearbox that has a bi-direction quickshifter. The Ducati Streetfighter comes equipped with an adjustable Showa Big Piston front fork, and at the rear, it gets a Sachs monoshock. Both versions also house standard features like Ducati Electronic Suspension, Ducati Power Launch, and auto-cut turn indicators.
The Streetfighter V4 lineup features carbon fiber winglets, a sculpted 17-liter fuel tank, a rider-only saddle, a sleek LED taillamp, and an underbelly exhaust. The Ducati Streetfighter V4 S and V4 now feature four riding modes: Full, Medium, High, and Low. The variants also have dedicated gear calibration and a new ride map. Braking duties are done by dual 330 mm front discs and a 245 mm rear disc, along with twin-channel ABS.
The Streetfighter rides on 17-inch wheels (120/70 front and 200/60 rear) on Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa 2 tyres. The new V4 and V4 S will rival the likes of the Triumph Speed Triple RS, BMW S 1000 R, and more.
