The company will release BS-IV/Euro-IV compliant Scramblers range, Monster 821 and Diavel soon.

The entire Ducati range in Europe (except the Panigale 1299) is Euro-IV compliant so this move was expected. Ducati India has just issued a statement informing us that the updated bikes will be relaunched very soon and deliveries will commence from July onwards. The bikemaker is currently accepting bookings for two variants of the BS-IV/Euro-IV compliant Scrambler, the Icon and the Classic.

The updated Scrambler Full Throttle is only available post September 2017 though and we have no word on when the fully off-road kitted-out Desert Sled version of the Scrambler will make its way here.

Only the XDiavel is currently on offer from the Diavel range, while the standard bike isn’t, but the company claims it will be available from October. The company’s India website states that the BS-IV/Euro 4 Diavel Diesel will be available earlier than that, starting August 2017, and will feature as a ‘new’ bike. The Diavel Diesel’s price starts at ₹19.92 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), but that figure is pre-GST, so expect a slight rise.

Ducati will also be bringing back the Monster 821 as a BS-IV/Euro-IV model in October this year. However, at this point, there is no word on whether there will be an update to the Panigale 1299 - In the light of an upcoming all-new V4 superbike to replace the Panigale range, the 1299s may not become Euro-IV compliant and can’t make it here. But, Ducati recently released a teaser video of a new edition of the Panigale, which could be the last, and if this is a Euro-IV compliant bike, chances are that it will be sold in India.

Ducati is set to make an announcement of post-GST prices for its whole range at the end of the month.
