The Elevate SUV has helped Honda Cars attain overall sales of 13,083 units. The festive month of October was beneficial for Honda Cars as the company sold 13,083 units, which marks a 15 percent growth in sales. Last year, in October, Honda cars recorded overall sales of 11,221 units. The increased numbers showcase the company’s year-over-year sales growth. The new Elevate SUV has received an overwhelming response from customers.
The October sales numbers are even higher than what Honda attained in September. The domestic sales numbers of Honda Cars have gone down a little, but the Japanese automaker made up for it by increasing exports. Along with the Elevate SUV, Honda sells sedans like the Amaze and City in India. In the previous month, Honda made deliveries of 9,400 units across India. Demand for the Elevate SUV increased in October, and it helped the company attain good sales figures.

Honda Elevate is the only SUV in Honda’s lineup. Honda launched the Elevate SUV earlier this year at a price of INR 11 lakh and INR 16 lakh (ex-showroom). As the Diwali festival is just around the corner, Honda is working on the manufacturing process to meet the high demand for the Elevate SUV. In the compact segment, the Elevate SUV gives tough competition to SUVs like the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, and Hyundai Creta.
The Director of Marketing and Sales at Honda Cars, Mr. Yuichi Murata, stated that “during the festive period, there’s a strong demand for our new model Honda Elevate from our customers. We are working hard to meet the strong demand for Elevate. The Honda City and Amaze sedans have also maintained their good performance. As we are nearing the auspicious celebrations of Dhanteras and Diwali, our dealerships are focusing on increasing deliveries.
Honda is planning to expand its automobile lineup in India. The Japanese automaker will unveil five new SUVs in the country by 2030. Honda is planning to launch an electric SUV that will come as a zero-emission version of the Elevate SUV. The sports utility segment in India is witnessing high demand, and all the automotive companies are investing in the Indian market. Honda Cars is also focusing on more SUV production in India to curb the gap between SUV demand across the country.
