The car will rival the Honda City and the upcoming Volkswagen Virtus.

The Argo-based sedan will most likely be unveiled early next year and will take on the likes of the Honda City, the new Hyundai Verna and VW’s upcoming Virtus (Polo) sedan.

The New Fiat sedan (Codenamed X6S) will resemble the Argo but will feature minor tweaks to the front bumper and grille. The car will most probably look exactly like the Argo right up to the B-pillar, with a longer rear door and an integrated boot.

On the inside, once again, it will be modelled after the Argo but will get additional features and tech. Expect the car to be powered by a 1.0-litre engine, a 1.3-litre unit and a range-topping 139hp, 1.8-litre flex-fuel engine, mated to either a five-speed manual, a six-speed automatic or a five-speed automated manual gearbox.

The car will go on sale first in Brazil, and will then go on sale internationally. There’s no news yet on whether this car will come to India.
