The car features styling changes inside and out, has more kit and is now fitted with a 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine.

The refreshed EcoSport is priced from ₹7.31 lakh for the base Ambiente trim, and the top-spec Titanium+ variant costs ₹10.99 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, India). Bookings began on November 5, 2017. The new model costs roughly ₹10,000 more than the pre-facelift EcoSport Car.

The car wears a new grille, gets new projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, new 17-inch alloy wheels and new exterior colours. There’s a new touchscreen infotainment system on all variants, except for the base trim. The screen is nestled in the redesigned centre console and comes with Ford’s SYNC3 support system and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There’s new seat upholstery, audio controls mounted on the three-spoke steering wheel, automatic climate control and dual USB ports.

All versions come with two airbags at the front and ABS with EBD. The petrol-automatic car gets paddleshifters, hill start assist, ESC and traction control, while the top-spec Titanium+ trim gets side and curtain airbags along with Isofix child-seat mounts at the rear.

The company has now added a new 1.5-litre Dragon petrol motor. This three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine makes 123hp and 150Nm, and is available with either a five-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic. The older car’s 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine that is paired with a five-speed manual transmission is also on sale.
