Honda dealers now offering extra accessories for customers of recently-launched Civic sedan.

After a long gap, Honda once again brought back their famed Civic sedan to Indian shores. Prices for Honda Civic begin at Rs 17.69 lakh for the base model, whereas the top model is priced at Rs. 22.30 lakhs. As we have already informed you, the Civic is pricier than its rivals in the segment. However, the total bookings for the Honda Civic have already reached 1,600 units and this shows the kind of popularity the sedan enjoys among the Indian public. However, this enthusiasm is not stopping the showrooms from giving great offers to customers out there to buy Civic sedans.

The dealers are currently offering extra accessories for the customers, although there is one condition, the offer is only valid for such customers if you are exchanging an old car for the Civic and the old car has to be a Honda. While a confirmation from the brand on the aforementioned scheme is awaited, this could also be a local initiative by a dealer. However local the offer maybe, this is sure to make the new Civic sedan an even more exciting deal for the customers.

As far as the new accessories are concerned the all-new tenth generation Honda Civic is being offered with a chrome package, ambient footrest lighting, floor mats, cushions and front parking sensors. These new accessories not only take up the aesthetic appeal of the car but also make the car more practical. This can also be seen as a kind of loyalty program riding on an exchange offer as only existing Honda customers can avail this offer for now. Nonetheless, this is quite and enticing opportunity for such Honda owners who were looking to upgrade from their City sedans and were eyeing something more premium in the market.

Honda Civic has introduced Civic in three trims -- V, VX and ZX. The all-new executive sedan is in the market with an option for petrol and diesel engines (the diesel engine being offered for the first time), the petrol motor in Honda’s new executive sedan is a 1.8-litre 4-cylinder unit rated for Bhp and 174 Nm. While the diesel unit is a 1.6-litre mill rated for 118 Bhp and 300 Nm. While the petrol models come with a CVT automatic gearbox, the diesel models make do with a manual transmission only. Honda has also said that depending on the customer demand, a diesel automatic version could be launched as well.
