Great Wall Motors to Unveil 4 Vehicles at Auto Expo 2020

Great Wall Motors would be showcasing 4 vehicles for the first time at Auto Expo 2020.

The Auto Expo 2020 will be witnessing a good number of launches, showcases, unveilings and we will be seeing a new name - Great Wall Motors. It is a China-based Automobile manufacturer aiming to make a mark in the evolving Indian automobile market. They will be showing a string of models ranging from compact and full-sized SUVs to electric cars; hoping to create a buzz. One of their most well-known models in the electric segment is the Ora R1 car. 


Ora R1

Powered by a 35 KW motor, Ora R1 is one of the cheapest electric cars in the world. It claims to run 350 Kms on a single charge making it suitable for long-distance driving. Supports charging through a DC fast charger and standard home plug point. It features voice commands and has connected car features. Possibility of AI support is being reported in the media and this could be a defining feature of the car. 


Haval H4

Haval H4 is an SUV model from Great Wall Motors and is tipped to compete against MG Hector in its pricing. GMW offers H4 worldwide in 2 two petrol options as a turbo 1.3-liter unit and a 1.5-liter turbo mill. We can also expect a diesel variant for the Indian market from GMW for Haval H4 model. 


Haval H9

Haval H9 is powered by a 2.0 Litre inline, 4 cylinder turbocharged petrol engine generating a maximum power output of 215 bhp and 325 Nm of peak torque. There are expectations that the GMW will launch a diesel variant of Haval H9 for the Indian market. A premium offering by the Chinese automaker, this model is expected to compete against the likes of Ford Endeavor, Toyota Fortuner among others.  


Haval H6

Set for a showcase at the Auto Expo 2020, globally it comes in 2 petrol engines – a 1.5-liter T-GDI and a 2.0-liter T-GDI. A 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox helps in the power transmission to its front wheels.
