Harley Davidson launched its premium cruiser, the Low Rider S in India at an introductory price of Rs 14.69 lakhs (ex-showroom). The motorcycle looks similar to the standard Softail Low Rider model. Instead of regular chrome fitments, the 2020 Low Rider S comes with a single-seat configuration and a blacked-out theme. It s offered with two color options namely Barracuda Silver and Vivid Black.
Under the frame, the Harley-Davidson Low Rider S is powered by a 1,745cc Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine that comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. This motor churns out 87 bhp power @ 5,020 rpm and 145 Nm peak torque @ 3,000 rpm.
The Low Rider S is a part of Harley-Davidson's ‘Softail' series. It also comes with additional features. These include wide handlebars, rounded headlamp, circular mirrors & indicators.
As for safety features, the motorcycle comes equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear, along with dual-channel ABS as standard for improved braking efficiency. Suspension duties are handled by 43mm upside-down forks up front and a mono-shock unit on the rear.
