Hero Electric has joined hands with ALT Mobility for the deployment of 10,000 Nyx electric scooters by 2023. These e-scooters will be supplied to various logistic aggregators and fleet operators in the Indian market. For those asking, ALT Mobility is India’s first dedicated platform for leasing of electric vehicles for the logistics market and it offers two & three-wheelers on an affordable monthly subscription to fleet operators. Several aspects such as the financing, road tax, auto insurance, and service and spare costs of the EVs are covered by ALT Mobility.
The Indian government is aggressively pushing for conversion of delivery segment vehicles to EV. Hero Electric has been at the forefront of it by forming multiple B2B partnerships. ALT Mobility has a technology-enabled platform which allows paperless onboarding of partners and vehicle management while providing access to ALT’s network of charging and parking networks.
