Hero Splendor Plus & Passion Pro Special Editions Launched in India

The Special Editions were launched to celebrate Hero MotoCorp reaching the milestone of 100 million sales in January 2021.

Hero Splendor Plus & Passion Pro Special Edition models have been launched in India. The new Splendor Plus 100 Million Edition retails at Rs 67,095 (Ex-Showroom, India), it comes in a single trim. On the other hand, the Passion Pro 100 Million Edition bike is priced at Rs 69,200 and Rs 71,400 for the drum and  disc variants respectively. These special editions were launched to celebrate Hero MotoCorp reaching the milestone of 100 million sales in January 2021. Earlier, Hero Xtreme 160R was launched and we can expect further special editions of earlier models like Destini 125, Maestro Edge 110 scooters in India. 




Both the Hero Splendor Plus & Passion Pro Special Edition sport dual-tone red and white paint theme. Apart from the new colour option, the special edition models retain the exterior styling and design of the standard bikes currently on sale in the country. The Hero Splendor Plus 100 Million and Hero Passion Pro 100 million editions feature red fuel tank extensions with white colour. 


Talking more about the dual colour scheme, the front fender, headlamp mask and side panels all sport a red paint job. The engine case and other parts get a complete black treatment which lends a distinctive appearance to the special edition bikes.

The engine powering the special edition models remains the same also. Hero Splendor Plus is powered by 97.2cc, single-cylinder engine. The bike delivers 7.9bhp of maximum output and 8.05Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the Hero Passion Pro is powered by 113cc, single-cylinder engine. The commuter bike delivers 9bhp of maximum power output and 9.89Nm of peak torque. Apart from the mechanicals, the feature list on both the bikes is carried over from the standard model.
