Honda Activa 6G Gets Second Price Hike of Rs 995

Honda Activa 6G continues to be the best selling company model in the Indian market for years now

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India launched the Activa 6G at a starting price of Rs 63,912 (ex-showroom) in January this year. The company gave the first price hike to the scooter in April 2020. After the hike, the scooter was available at Rs 64,464 (Ex-Showroom). Now once again the company has silently increased the price of the scooter by Rs 955. The standard model is available at Rs 65,419 while the Deluxe variant is offered at Rs 66,919 (Both prices are Ex-Showroom). 

Cosmetically, the BS6 Honda Activa 6G retains the same silhouette as its BS4 counterpart. Upfront, it gets an LED headlamp along with LED DRLs. Talking about the features, then the scooter shares a lot of features from the Activa 125 BS6. The main highlight is the silent start system. Other notable features include the analog-digital instrument cluster and chrome finished panels. Furthermore, the scooter gets a longer seat and wheelbase while offering bigger floor space. The scooter rides on 12-inch front wheels and 10-inch rear wheels. 


Mechanically, the scooter draws its power from a 109cc fuel-injected single-cylinder engine that churns out 7.68 bhp power at 8000 rpm and 8.79 Nm of peak torque at 5250 rpm. The engine is linked to a CVT gearbox. Also, the engine is 10 percent more fuel-efficient as it gets a fuel-injection system and Honda’s ESP technology. Suspension duties are taken care of by telescopic forks up front. In terms of brakes, the scooter gets drum brakes at both the end with CBS.


The Honda Activa 6G is offered in six color options namely Black, Pearl spartan red, Pearl precious white, Matte axis grey metallic, Glitter blue metallic, and Dazzle yellow metallic.
