Honda Amaze Facelift bookings have commenced at a token amount of Rs 21000 at dealerships across India

Honda Cars India Limited is all set to launch the facelifted version of Amaze on August 18, 2021, in the country. Ahead of the official launch, spy images of the car have surfaced online giving us a fair idea of what all changes have been made to the car. 


Honda Amaze Facelift: Booking Details

The automaker has commenced the pre-bookings of the new Amaze at all authorized dealerships across the country. Interested buyers can get the bookings done at a token amount of Rs 21,000. Besides this, the customer can also book the vehicle via the ‘Honda From Home’ platform on the HCIL website for an amount of Rs 5000. 

Honda Amaze Facelift: Design & Features

From the leaked spy shots, the updated Amaze gets minor tweaks on the outside. Upfront, it features new LED headlamps and LED fog lamps. In addition, it gets new dual-tone alloy wheels and redesigned bumpers. Moving inside the cabin, 2021 Amaze gets a dual-tone dashboard. Furthermore, we can expect to see new fabric upholstery for the seats along with new interior trim pieces. The new Amaze will come equipped with features like a touchscreen infotainment unit compatible with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto and a sunroof. We can further expect Honda to introduce Alexa voice support as seen in the new City sedan.

Honda Amaze Facelift: Engine Specifications

Performance-wise, the upcoming Amaze facelift will get both petrol and diesel engine options. This set of engines does the duty on the current model on sale. The 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol unit is capable of returning a top power of 89 bhp and a peak torque of 110 Nm. The engine comes mated to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre diesel motor churns out 99 bhp power and 200 Nm peak torque when paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. When the motor is coupled with a CVT automatic gearbox, it generates 79 bhp power and 160 Nm peak torque. 

Honda Amaze Facelift: Rivals

Once launched in the Indian market, the Honda amaze facelift will be competing against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and Ford Aspire.
