Honda CB350 RS and H'Ness CB350: Price, Design, Features, Variants and Colors

Honda 2-Wheelers India recently launched the CB350 RS in the country. The new RS is a more off-road-oriented version of the H’Ness CB350. The bike is quite identical to the H’Ness CB350 in terms of the engine, suspension, brakes, and chassis. However, there are a few changes that set it apart from the H'ness. Here we have listed the ‘Five Key Differences’ between the newly launched CB350 RS and H’Ness CB350.

Honda CB350 RS and H’ness CB350: Price & Variants

The recently launched Honda CB350 RS is marginally expensive in comparison to the Honda H’Ness CB350. The CB350 RS price stands at Rs 1.96 lakhs (ex-showroom) while the H’Ness CB350 falls in the price range of Rs 1.86 lakhs - Rs 1.92 lakhs (ex-showroom).

Talking about the variants, the CB350 RS is offered as a single variant. while the H’Ness CB350 is available in two variants - DLX and DLX Pro.

Honda CB350 RS and H’ness CB350: Design

In terms of design, the CB350 RS looks quite similar to the H’Ness CB350. The bike gets all-black treatment instead of chrome as seen in the H’Ness CB350. The most significant design change is towards the rear end of the bike. The CB350 RS gets sleek LED tail-light and under-seat LED winkers. The pillion grab rails are placed under the seat on either side. The H’Ness CB350, on the other hand, comes with a separate holder for LED tail-light along with a single-piece pillion grab rail. Besides these, the wide tyres with a block pattern and a skid plate make CB350 RS look like a scrambler bike. Another change is in the sleek fenders at the front and at the rear. They are now made from plastic and are smaller than the ones present on the H’Ness. This has further shaved off 2 kilos from the kerb weight of the motorcycle. The CB350 RS gets a bash plate for the engine along with a blacked-out exhaust pipe with a chrome heat shield while the H’Ness CB350 features a chrome exhaust. The springs in the rear shockers are black on the RS instead of chrome-plated as present in the H’Ness CB350. Also, the badges on the center panels are different on both bikes.

Honda CB350 RS and H’ness CB350: Features

The Honda CB350 RS certainly gets some additional bits in comparison to the H’Ness CB350. But it does miss out on some features like dual horn and the company’s Smartphone Voice Control system (HSVC). The HSVC feature allows riders to control their smartphone via voice commands. The riders can easily pair their smartphone with the instrument console via Bluetooth. This particular feature is present on the DLX Pro variant of H’Ness CB350. Other additional features present on the CB350 RS include hazard switch and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system. Besides these, the rest of the features remain the same as the one present on the H’Ness CB350.

Honda CB350 RS and H’ness CB350: Cycle Parts and Riding Position

There has been a slight change in the rider ergonomics as well. The CB350 RS gets slightly lower with fatter handlebars. The footpegs are also a little more rear set. Both bikes get a single-piece seat but the one on the RS is a roll & tuck type seat which is more comfortable in comparison to the one present on H’Ness. The seat height and seat length remain unchanged. The RS also misses out on the heel gear shifter which was present in the H’Ness CB350. Talking about the tyre size, the front one of both the bikes remains the same while the rear tyre in the RS is now a fatter 150 section unit. Also, the rear wheel stands at 17-inch instead of 18-inch. The newly launched RS also gets 2mm more ground clearance at 168mm.

Honda CB350 RS and H’ness CB350: Color Options

The newly launched Honda CB350 RS comes with single monotone color - Radiant Red Metallic and one dual-tone color - Black with Pearl Sports Yellow. On the other hand, the H’Ness CB350 is offered in three monotone colors - Matte Marshal Green Metallic, Pearl Night Star Black, Precious Red Metallic, and three dual-tone color - Matte Steel Black Metallic With Matte Massive Grey Metallic, Pearl Night Star Black With Spear Silver Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic With Virtuous White.
