Honda is about to launch an update of its bestselling mid-size sedan on February 14, 2017. Here’s what the updated Honda City has in store.
Changes to the model are largely cosmetic and come in the form of a revised front end that features slightly different headlamps with LED daytime running lights. The front bumper has a new design and so does the rear bumper. The car’s side profile remains largely unchanged, but the updated model will come with a new set of alloy wheels.
This is a facelift in the true sense of the word as there are very few mechanical changes. The engines are the same 1.5-litre petrol and diesel units as on the current car, however, the car’s suspension has been raised by 10mm for improved ground clearance.
One of the crucial updates on the City comes in the form of a new Blaupunkt-developed infotainment system which comes loaded with Android Auto and a mobile mirror feature. Fully loaded variants will also come with six airbags, leather seats and a soft-touch dashboard.
Also, the facelift is going to bring back the City ZX name, a moniker that was introduced in India on a previous iteration of the Honda City.
