Honda latest offering in the scooter segment is the new Grazia, prices for the scooter start at ₹57,897 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Honda had started taking bookings for the scooter, which is available in three variants, from Oct 25.
In terms of styling, the scooter has aggressive bodywork a huge V-headlight. This headlamp is an all-LED unit which promises bright illumination. The scooter also gets premium-looking digital instrumentation. This cluster shows speedometer, trip meter, odometer, fuel gauge, clock and also a tachometer. Moreover, the scooter also gets a pocket for mobile phones with an outlet for charging.
Powering the Grazia is a BS-4 compliant 125cc, single-cylinder motor that produces 8.6hp and 10.54Nm of torque, and is mated to a CVT, similar to the Activa 125. The Grazia gets a telescopic fork up front.
It is available in six colours – orange, black, red, white, grey and blue. In terms of competition, it takes on the Suzuki Access 125.
Yamaha launched its very popular Yamaha R15 V3 in the BSVI variant at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 1.45 Lacs. The company has hiked the prices of the bike by Rs. 4,400 as compared to the BSIV model.
