The CBF650R has received a major upgrade for 2017 and Honda hasn’t altered the price, it continues to retail at ₹7.3 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.
While the bike internationally makes 4hp more than the outgoing bike, Honda India’s website currently lists the bike at the same 86hp. The bike also makes only 60.5Nm and not 62.9Nm. The bike promises a louder exhaust note, something the previous bike was missing. Honda has tweaked the bike’s mechanicals for better performance and rideability.
There’s a new full-LED headlamp and the fairing features smaller side panels, showing off more of the engine cases, which are finished in Bronze, like on the new Fireblade. The riding position has been altered too and is now slightly sportier. At the back, there’s a new LED tail lamp. There are two colour schemes on offer - Millennium Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
Bookings are now open at all Honda Wing World showrooms in India.
