Honda PCX All-Electric Scooter Unveiled

Honda has gone ahead and revealed its PCX electric scooter for the Asian markets.

Honda’s PCX scooter was unveiled at the Tokyo motor show. The scooter has been developed for city commutes and uses a lithium-ion mobile battery pack.

The PCX is powered by a 1.33hp electric motor and gets a removable lithium-ion mobile battery pack named Honda Mobile Power Pack. The scooter is expected to on sale sometime in 2018. The Japanese two-wheeler brand also had the PCX Hybrid on display at the motor show. The hybrid uses a high-output battery and ACG starter to assist the internal combustion engine. Both the PCX models are expected to hit the Asian markets in 2018.

At present, there is no official confirmation from the bike maker about an India debut. However, both scooters could find a place at the upcoming Auto Expo in New Delhi.
