Dealers will start accepting bookings for the New Amaze from April 6, 2018 for an amount of Rs 21,000. Customers can expect deliveries by the end of May 2018. The car was first shown at the 2018 Auto Expo. Mechanically, the 88hp, 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.5-litre, 100hp diesel engine options will continue.
The Amaze's petrol variant is fitted with a five-speed manual gearbox with an optional CVT; and the diesel will also get an optional CVT gearbox for the first time. The car is quite heavily inspired by the bigger City sedan. On the inside, a similar dual-tone interior theme will continue and there’s a new prominent touchscreen infotainment system on the dash.
There is more space on the inside thanks to some clever packaging. The new Amaze will be priced slightly higher than the outgoing model.
