The BS6 emission norms are coming into force on April 1, 2020, and automobile majors are racing against time to launch their BS6 compliant vehicles. The Japanese automaker has already planned to launch the updated City with BS6 compliant engines later this month and the WR-V facelift is the next to get BS6 compliant engines.

The WR-V facelift will come with a BS6 compliant 1.5-litre diesel engine which produces 110bhp. The petrol variants will be powered by a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre engine which delivers 90bhp. Honda WR-V interior looks different too with the introduction of a new upholstery. A couple of new features in form of electric sunroof and cruise control can be expected in the Honda WR-V top variants. It will compete against the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue. Honda WR-V facelift price in India will be revealed in the coming days but we can expect a decent increase in the diesel variants.
