Hyundai Creta SX Executive price would be nearly Rs 78,000 less than the SX variant

Hyundai India is planning to expand the Creta variant range by introducing a new trim called 'SX Executive' in the country. As per a leaked document accessed by our friends at Team-BHP, Hyundai Creta SX Executive price would be nearly Rs 78,000 less than the SX variant. The new variant would be positioned below the SX trim but it would lose out on several premium features. It will be launched with both the petrol and diesel engine with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. There will be no automatic gearbox available.

Hyundai Creta SX Executive will be devoid of an array of premium features seen on the SX grade. It will not get the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto & Bluelink connected car connectivity. In addition, the new variant will also not feature burglar alarm, Arkamys Sound Mood, driver rearview monitor and voice recognition button. However, it will come with body-coloured door handles in place of the chrome door handles. Some of the other salient features of the Creta SX Executive will be day/night IRVM, multi-function steering wheel with phone and audio controls, shark-fin antenna, rearview camera Bluetooth Mic and USB port as standard.

Mechanically, the SX Executive trim will get the same petrol and diesel engines as the entire range, barring the 1.4L turbocharged petrol motor. The petrol variants will be powered by the 1.5L 4-cylinder motor which will churn out 113 bhp and 144 Nm. On the other hand, the diesel variants will have a 1.5L 4-cylinder mill with power output of 113 bhp and torque delivery of 250 Nm. Both the engines will be linked to a 6-speed manual unit. Meanwhile, in other news, Hyundai has started testing the 2022 Creta facelift as it has been spotted multiple times on roads. The 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift is expected to launch by mid of next year in India with cosmetic updates and new features.
