Hyundai has revealed the Elevate concept that can drive and walk anywhere to save lives.

Hyundai has revealed a unique concept vehicle, Hyundai Elevate. This vehicle can be used as an emergency vehicle or a taxi for the disabled. The Hyundai Elevate has the capability of driving and walking with its robotic legs. The Korean carmaker describes it as Ultimate Mobility Vehicle (UMV).

The Elevate is a rescue vehicle that can reach disaster affected areas such as forest fires, earthquakes, hurricanes or floods. It is more capable than some of the most capable off-road vehicles thanks to its robotic legs that can climb the most trechorous terrains possible.

The Hyundai Elevate can climb a 5 foot wall, step over a 5 foot gap, walk over diverse terrain and achieve a 15 foot wide track width while keeping all the passengers in the vehicle completely level. It can also perform beyond emergency situations. It has a good technology to help the disabled access the vehicle without using the ramps.

The Hyundai Elevate concept is based on an EV platform and it will be powered by an electric motor that can help it reach highway speeds without a fuss. The timeline of the production of this unique concept is yet to be known.
