Hyundai India has announced a new 'Town Hall' project with the message ‘Dhyan Do’ to emphasize on road safety and self-healthcare of Public/Private transport drivers. As a part of this Town Hall project, it will aim to cover more than 34,000 drivers this year. Furthermore, the new project also intends to reach out to 5000 public transport drivers along with 2500 corporate employees and drivers in the district of Faridabad. The project will offer free preliminary health check-up of public transport drivers with curative and preventive counselling by qualified doctors at various touch points with a sustained follow-up plan.
In addition, Hyundai will also conduct large scale cluster awareness clinics for sensitizing about road safety and health implications on drivers. The road safety initiative is addressed through different pillars like Safe Infrastructure, Safe Vehicle, Road Safety Management, Road User Behaviour and Post-Crash Care. The project 2 of the campaign entails training of corporate employees and corporate drivers along with free counselling for chauffeurs by qualified trainers at various touch points. The brand is working closely with the public and private drivers by empowering them to be physically, mentally and behaviourally to be self-aware and productive on the job.
