Hyundai has introduced the Xcent Prime with a factory-fitted CNG kit. The car is available in two trims T and T+, and is priced at ₹5.93 lakh and ₹6.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.
Another feature on this car is a factory-fitted SLF (Speed Limiting Function), which allows the owner of the car to control the maximum speed their car can hit. Registration and financing for these cars is an easier process and you can also avail of registration tax benefit offered in select areas.
The Prime is basically a pre-facelift Xcent that can be purchased for commercial purposes. It loses out on a lot of features, it has a bit less than the base variant of the new Xcent. There’s no central locking, front power windows, full wheel caps, blackened pillars or a cooled glovebox. There’s a new cloth/rexine seat combination available now.
The New Xcent Prime CNG is available with a warranty of 1 lakh km/3 years.
