The Grand Cherokee Diesel line-up sees the most significant drop, followed by the SRT and Wrangler. The Cherokee diesel’s Limited trim is now priced at ₹75.15 lakh – that’s a massive ₹18.49 lakh price cut. The Grand Cherokee’s Summit diesel trim now costs ₹85.15 lakh, which is a reduction of ₹17.95 lakh. The SRT sees a drop of ₹5 lakh, while the Wrangler Unlimited diesel costs ₹6.14 lakh less post GST. The Wrangler Unlimited petrol’s price remains the same.
Jeep has also launched a petrol-powered version of the Grand Cherokee in India. The car is powered by a 3.6-litre, V6 engine that makes 290hp and 347Nm torque. Power is channelled via an eight-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. The Cherokee V6 petrol is available only on the Summit trim and costs ₹75.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
