Hyundai Motor India to Unveil 5 Vehicles at Auto Expo 2020

Hyundai Motor India has confirmed the premiere of Second Generation Creta, Verna facelift, Tucson facelift, and i30 Fastback N at Auto Expo 2020.

Hyundai India is all set to dazzle auto aficionados with its range of exquisite products at Auto Expo 2020 that starts from the 7th of February at the Expo Mart in Greater Noida. The Korean automaker has confirmed that it will unveil the Second Generation Hyundai Creta, Verna facelift, Tucson facelift, i30 Fastback N and Hyundai Le Fil Rouge. This would be in addition to the entire product portfolio that would be on display at the biennial event.

 

Hyundai Verna Facelift

Starting with Hyundai Verna facelift, it will be based on the China-spec sedan which had its premiere at the Chengdu Motor Show last year. The new sedan would flaunt sharper exteriors while taking a radical departure from the current model in terms of overall styling. It will be offered with BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engines, which will be sourced from the Kia Seltos.

Second Generation Hyundai Creta

Moving on to the new-generation Hyundai Creta, it can be termed as the most anticipated launch of this year. The company has started teasing the SUV with some sketch images that reveal its exterior design.The All-New Hyundai Creta is likely to be offered with 3 BS6 compliant engines: naturally aspirated 1.5L petrol with 113Bhp of top power, 1.5L turbocharged diesel with 113bhp and 1.0L turbocharged petrol with 120bhp as its  power output. The transmission options would include a 6-speed manual, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and a CVT unit. Second Generation Hyundai Creta prices might start from Rs 10 Lakhs and go as high as Rs 16 Lakhs  (ex-showroom) in India.

 

Hyundai Tucson Facelift

Last but by no means the least, Hyundai Tucson facelift will also be unveiled at the 2020 Delhi Motor Show. Originally unveiled at the 2018 New York Auto Show, it will be offered with the BS6 complaint 2.0L petrol and diesel engines. Both the engines will come with a manual unit as standard while the existing 6-speed automatic gearbox could be replaced by the company's new 8-speed unit. The Tucson range is presently Hyundai tucson priced between Rs 18.76 to 27 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) and the BS6 versions could command a premium of Rs 50,000-1,00,000 over the existing BS4 variants.

Hyundai i30 Fastback N

Coming to the Hyundai i30 Fastback N, it will make its first public appearance in the Indian market at the 2020 Auto Expo. It might not get launched anytime soon due to its hefty price tag since this a CBU. Traditionally in the past, the automaker has shown us many iterations of the i30 and the i30 Fastback N should not be missed out while visiting the exhibition.
