Hyundai Motor India has silently launched the BS6 compliant Santro at a starting price of Rs 4.57 lakhs (ex-showroom). Hyundai Santro BS6 continues to be offered in both petrol and CNG variants. The hatchback comes in four trims namely: Era Executive, Magna, Sportz, and Asta.
Hyundai Santro BS6 entry level variant Era Executive price is Rs 4,57,490 while the top ranging Sportz AMT costs Rs 5,98,490. There is also a CNG variant, Hyundai Santro BS6 Sportz CNG is available for Rs 6,20,290.

The Hyundai Santro BS6 is powered by a 1.1-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that churns out 69 bhp power and 99 Nm torque. The engine comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission along with 5-speed AMT as an option. The CNG trims are equipped with a fire extinguisher. In Hyundai Santro CNG, the engine produces 58 bhp of power output with 84 Nm of peak torque. It is only offered with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Cosmetically, it remains the same as the outgoing BS4 model. It continues to sport the same cascading grille encased in chrome, swept-back headlamps, turn indicators on ORVMs. The interior boasts of a dual-tone beige and black color scheme. Highlighted features include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system integrated with Apple Car Play and Andriod Auto, MirrorLink, keyless entry, rear AC vents, rear washer and wiper, dual front airbags, a rearview camera, rear parking sensors and steering mounted controls.
As for the safety features, BS6 Hyundai Santro comes equipped with a driver-side airbag, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensor, seat-belt reminder for driver & front passenger, and a speed alert system.
