Hyundai Staria will make its world premiere digitally in the first half of 2021

Hyundai Motor Company has released the clear images of the Staria MPV ahead of its official debut. The MPV will make its digital world premiere in the first half of 2021. The overall look of the MPV is based on the ‘inside-out approach’ which is basically a new methodology for future mobility.

Upfront, the upcoming Staria gets a bold and wide radiator grille with a low-set of all-LED headlamps positioned on each side of the grille. In addition to this, it also features horizontal DRLs and a positioning lamp. On the sides, it gets large panoramic windows and 18-inch wheels with diamond patterns and graphics. The Hyundai emblem on the front, wheels, side mirrors, and door handles gets a tinted brass chrome. The rear end boasts of vertical tail-lamps and a wide window.

Moving inside the cabin of the new Staria, it is inspired by the lounge of a cruise ship. The MPV gets a 10.25-inch front display screen, a button-type electronic shift lever, and a touch-based center fascia. The digital instrument cluster is positioned on top of the dashboard. The MPV further comes with multiple storage options like on top of the overhead console, top & bottom of the center fascia, and the bottom of the cluster. Other feature highlights include cup holders, USB ports and 64-color ambient mood lamp among many others.

“STARIA is Hyundai’s first mass-produced vehicle model that is designed with the ‘inside-out’ design approach. STARIA will provide a completely new experience and value proposition to customers through its unprecedented design and innovative features,” as commented by SangYup Lee, Senior Vice President and Head of Global Hyundai Design.

Talking about the seating configurations, the Staria will be offered from 2-seater to 11-seater. The top-end variant Staria Premium will be sold in 7-, 9-, and 11-seat configurations.
