Hyundai Tuscon Facelift to be launched on 5th February 2020

Auto Expo 2020 will be witnessing launches, unveilings and showcasing from some of the world’s biggest brands as well as emerging start-ups. One of the biggest Automobile exhibitions in Asia plays hosts to interested brands looking to highlight their best and new products to a wide audience considering India is a highly valued market. Hyundai has clocked impressive sales and revenues in the market over the years and is gearing to showcase its new models in the expo. One of them is the highly awaited Tuscon facelift slated to be launched on the 5th of February 2020.


Hyundai Tuscon Facelift has a host of new and extensive modifications like a new front fascia comprising of revamped fog lamps, refreshed bumper and new skid plate. Focus on interiors is visible as the cabin offers a new infotainment system, wireless phone charging option along with a 360-degree camera. The best bit about the Tuscon Facelift is that it is a 5 seater and its’ infotainment system comes compatible with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Other elements on-board include airbags, sunroof, extensive boot space and rear AC vents . Technology is the defining theme in Hyundai vehicles with the inclusion of forward collision-avoidance assist (FCA), lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control to make the SUV more safer. 


It’s widely expected that the SUV will be powered by BS6 compliant engines both in petrol as well as diesel versions to meet the new emission regulations by the Goverment of India. The 2.0-liter petrol engine would generate a maximum power output of 153 hp and 192 Nm of torque while the 2.0-liter diesel is expected to generate a maximum power of 182 hp and 400 Nm torque. Transmission duties would be carried out by both 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Hyundai Tuscon facelift is expected to compete against the major SUV players in the market like MG Hector, Tata Harrier and Jeep compass. 

As for the pricing, expect Tuscon Facelift to be slightly more expensive than the current model. It could be in the range of Rs 18 - Rs 27 lakhs (ex-showroom) India considering the added new features.
