Hyundai Venue BS6 launched at Rs 9.35 lakhs(ex-showroom)

Hyundai has updated its five-seater SUV, Venue with BS6 complaint engines. This SUV comes packed with a plethora of updated features. Hyundai dealerships have started accepting bookings across the country. If sources are to be believed then Hyundai is all set to discontinue its existing 1.4-litre diesel motor. The petrol Hyundai Venue mated to a 5-speed manual transmission is priced in the range of Rs 6.70 lakhs - Rs 10.85 lakhs(ex-showroom) while the turbo petrol engine offering an automatic gearbox is priced between Rs 9.35 lakhs - Rs 11.35 lakhs (ex-showroom) India. Overall in comparsion to the previous prices, there has been an increase of Rs 15000 on the ex-showroom price across the entire range. 


This 5-seater SUVs shape makes it look like a scaled-down Creta but the styling is far more flamboyant. The cabin comes with a dashboard that places the 8-inch touchscreen high-up. Equipped with modern technology, it also features Blue Link Connectivity, an air purifier equipped with HEPA filter, wireless phone charging along with Eco Coating Technology for you to breathe fresh air. Other equipment list on-board this vehicle include leather-wrapped steering wheel along with gear knob & front armrest to give you a premium feel, storage space on crashpad, glovebox cooling and rear AC vents.


Hyundai Venue flaunts a front grille with dark chrome inserts to add a premium appeal, twin headlamps, projector headlights with LED DRLs. It also features projector fog lamps, smart electric sunroof and electrically operated ORVM to enhance the driver’s convenience. The sides come with chrome finish door handles and a bridge-type roof rail giving it a sporty look. All set to ride on R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels, the rear end of the Venue provides LED Taillamps with crystal effect and a shark fin antenna integrated to the roof design.


Under the hood, this BS6 compliant variant comes with a range of engine options that redefines power. This five-seater SUV is powered by a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 83 bhp max power output and 115 Nm of peak torque. It also has a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine that delivers 120 bhp and 172 Nm peak torque.
