Top 10 segment leading features of the latest Hyundai SUV Venue.

Hyundai has finally made its entry in the sub-4 meter compact SUV segment as it unveiled the Venue in India. With the launch and price reveal scheduled to take place only next month, the South Korean maker here presented their latest offering in the Indian market. The Hyundai Venue will lock horns with Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, and Mahindra XUV300 in the Indian market. What the company has lost on time, it hopes to make up on the features front, as it always has, and is angling the SUV as India’s first connected SUV. Let’s take a look at the features that the latest Hyundai SUV offers and its rivals do not.

BlueLink

The company says that Venue’s ‘Smart Connect SUV’ tag will arm it with 33 features and among these, 10 have been developed especially for India and it will feature the brand’s ‘BlueLink Connected Technology’. The BlueLink technology in the Venue will work via an e-SIM that will come pre-installed with the car and it offers car tracking, geo-fencing, overspeeding updates, tow-away, time fencing, the vehicle remote on a smartphone, SOS calls, customer support, real-time traffic information, remotely check the car status, find the car and India-specific voice assistance.

Air Purifier and Self-Clean AC

Hyundai Venue also comes with an air purifier that aims to benefit the Indian customers specifically as the air pollution has become a major problem in India. Apart from this, Hyundai Venue’s AC comes with an eco-coating this keeps the odor out of the aircon unit and helps it self-clean.

7-speed DCT with turbo petrol engine

In a segment first offering, the South Korean maker is also offering a Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) with the new Venue. Only the 1L turbo petrol variant of the Venue will get the 7-speed DCT option. DCT is one among the cutting edge automatic gearboxes that offer very quick shifts.

Projector Fog lamps

In a break from tradition, the Hyundai Venue comes with projector fog headlamps that offer better illumination on the road. None of the cars in the segment come with this feature.

Wireless Charging

Hyundai Creta is famous for its wireless charging feature and the same has now made its way to the Venue sub-4 meter compact SUV.

High Definition Infotainment display

Although almost all the cars in this segment come with the touchscreen infotainment system, Hyundai has gone a step further and has brought the HD version on this display on the Venue. This display also supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The improved resolution will mean better images during satellite navigation.

Wheel air curtains for better aerodynamics

The wheel air curtains present on the Hyundai Venue not only offer better aerodynamics for the driver during rides, it also slightly improves the mileage of the car. This is truly a global feature that is first in its segment.

Arkamys sound output

Hyundai Venue also comes with Arkamys sound output. This means that the famed Arkamys audio solutions company has specifically tuned the sound of the speakers of the Venue to suit its interiors. This vastly improves the in-car entertainment factor of the Venue.

3 years/ unlimited km warranty

In another segment first feature, the South Korean maker is giving a 3 years/unlimited km warranty as standard on their new Venue sub-4 meter SUV. This makes the Venue the segment leader in offering standard warranty on their car.

3 years RSA support

It is not just the warranty where the Venue leads the segment, but the company also offers free 3 year Road Side Assistance (RSA) to the customers. This includes emergency services in case of vehicle breakdown or the user being stranded with the vehicle.
