Future Infiniti SUV previewed with QX80 Monograph concept

The exterior sees the adoption of a new design language. The models will be pit against the Range Rover.

The QX80 Motograph design study was revealed at Hong Kong and offers a glimpse at the company’s future large SUV model. The new model will focus on the US and Chinese markets and will take on the Range Rover.

The focus of this car’s design was to maximise luxury and cabin space. Its body features conventional SUV proportions with muscular styling. The car also previews the type of look that Infiniti cars in the future will adopt.

Roland Krueger, president of Infiniti, said, “The QX80 Monograph represents a design study into our expertise or exterior design. It shows our concept of luxury and style on the road, and is an exploration into how we could enhance our future Infiniti offering in the luxury SUV segment."

The concept is set to make its public debut at the New York motor show.
