Jaguar is celebrating 50 years of the XJ luxury saloon with the launch of the XJ50 anniversary edition in India.

The British automaker, Jaguar, is celebrating 50 years of the XJ with the launch of the XJ50 anniversary edition. The Jaguar XJ50 anniversary edition is priced at Rs. 1.11 crores (ex-showroom). The premium luxury sedan comes with some cosmetic changes on the exterior and interior of the special edition to differentiate it from the regular car.

Some of the changes include Autobiography-style front and rear bumpers, new 19 inch alloy wheels, chrome radiator grille with chrome surround, unique badging to the rear and side vents. The Jaguar XJ50 is available in these colour options - Fuji White, Santorini Black, Loire Blue and Rosello Red.

Coming to the interiors, the flagship Jaguar saloon comes with soft-grain diamond-quilted seats with an embossed leaper on the headrests and an XJ50 logo on the centre armrest. Unique intaglio branding and XJ50-badged illuminated treadplates and anodised gearshift paddles and bright metal pedals.

Powering the Jaguar XJ50 is a 3.0-litre diesel engine that produces 301 HP of power output. This is a long wheelbase version that comes with additional legroom.
