2021 Jeep Compass Facelift gets a larger touchscreen instead of an 8.4-inch unit present in the current model.

Jeep India had launched the much hyped Compass SUV back in 2017. Now the company is all set to give the Compact SUV a mid-life update. Lately, the prototype of the new Jeep Compass Facelift has been seen testing on roads across the globe. It is likely to be launched in 2021 in the Indian market. Recently, spy shots of the interiors of the Compass Facelift have been leaked online. Although the interiors are partially covered in the images, we can still get a fair idea as to what the new changes could be in the SUV.

As per these images, major revisions have been made to the center console. The New Jeep Compass Facelift gets the FCA’s (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) latest UConnect5 infotainment system. The system in particular gets a 10.1-inch screen instead of an 8.4-inch unit present in the current model. It will come equipped gloss-black control switches for the screen positioned in a row below it. Minor changes have been made to the SUV’s dashboard that includes climate control buttons being repositioned. The Facelift Compass will also feature an all-new steering wheel.

For the exterior, subtle changes have been carried out in order to make it look refreshed. The 2021 Jeep Compass Facelift will feature a revised grille, front bumper, and new headlights. At the rear end, the tail-lamps will see minor tweaks in the form of LED's alongside a new bumper.

Under the hood, the Jeep Compass Facelift in the International market is likely to draw power from a 1.3-litre Firefly T4 flex-fuel (dual fuel) engine. This engine will be linked to a CVT gearbox along with a front-wheel-drive system. As for the India-spec Jeep Compass Facelift, it is expected to get the existing BS6 compliant 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine delivering 163 bhp of maximum power output and a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine producing 173 bhp power. The engine will be linked to a manual gearbox as standard along with the option of an automatic transmission.
